We have a host of trainers for every sport, training type, behavior or whatever a dog may need! Ran by our members, the club has a passion for dogs and to help the community. We strive to teach anyone of the South Plains who wishes to learn!
Before the club was established, training classes were started in early 1970 by Caroline Handl at her K9 Kennels facility located outside of Lubbock. These classes created so much interest in dog obedience that the club was founded shortly after. Our main principle is promoting dog sports, training, and responsible dog ownership.
In the years since our founding, our club has helped thousands of South Plains residents train their dogs. We host AKC events such as Obedience and Agility, and encourage our students to participate. We started with a small group of people and now have over 60 members, and an ever growing number of class attendees.
